Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta hires an Occupational Therapist to develop and administer therapy programs for inpatients and outpatients across age groups.

You will educate patients and families, collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and uphold compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed OT by the Georgia State Board.
• CPR certification for all age groups.
• Minimum 2 years of licensed clinical experience.
• Internal candidate must attain 3.25 PE (prior year), no disciplinary action on file, and no red rule violation.
• Preferred: knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and other government regulations.

• Develops and administers occupational therapy programs and treatments for inpatients and outpatients across age groups defined by clinical competency.
• Educates patients and families and maintains courtesy and patience in speaking with patients, families, medical personnel and others to provide quality customer service.

Develops and administers occupational therapy programs and treatments for inpatients and outpatients of age groups defined by clinical competency which may include neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. The duties of this position require patient and family education and the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with and assisting patients, families, medical personnel and others in order to provide quality customer service.

Required

• B. S. Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy
• Must be certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for all age groups.
• Must have 2 years of licensed clinical experience.
• Internal candidate must attain 3.25 PE (prior year), no disciplinary action on file, and no red rule violation.

Preferred

• Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and other government regulations.
