Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support inpatient and outpatient programs for adolescents to geriatrics. You will implement treatment plans under the supervision of an OT and contribute to patient and family education.

The role requires an OTA degree, Georgia licensure, BLS, and at least two years of licensed experience; weekend hours may apply as part of a fulltime schedule.

Formación

• Associate's degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Two years of experience as a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Responsabilidades

• Performs OT programs and treatments as directed for inpatient and outpatient populations (adolescent to geriatric).
• Provides employee and patient education programs as directed.
• Educates patients and families and maintains courteous, patient-focused service.

Responsibilities

Performs occupational therapy programs and treatments as directed by the occupational therapist for inpatient & outpatient adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. Provides employee and patient educational programs as directed. The duties of this position require patient and family education and the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with and assisting patients, families, medical personnel and others in order to provide quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Two (2) year of experience as a Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant

Work Hours: 8am- 4:30 pm
