Therapy Solutions Collective (TSCO) is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. The role is on-site in Seattle, WA, with a 0.8 FTE schedule and full-time status during the school year.

You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, collaborate with teachers and families, participate in IEP meetings, and document progress, ensuring services align with IEP goals and student needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in OT from an accredited program.
• Current state OT license to practice.
• NBCOT certification.
• Experience with school-aged children or educational settings preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt interventions to student needs in dynamic school environments.
• Values collaboration and student-centered services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of students' fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and daily living skills.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct OT services to students individually or in small groups.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams for classroom modifications and accommodations.
• Participate in IEP meetings and document student progress.
• Educate staff and families on strategies for generalization of interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress, and sessions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current in school-based OT.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and daily living skill needs.

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students individually or in small groups, aligned with their IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support classroom modifications, accommodations, and interventions.
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to goal development and documentation of student progress.
• Educate and support staff and families on strategies for generalization and carryover of therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress reports, treatment sessions, and communications.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices, tools, and techniques in school-based OT.
• More specific job roles will vary based on state and district requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state where services will be provided.
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.
• Experience working with school-aged children or in educational settings preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt interventions to meet students’ individual needs in dynamic school environments.
• Someone who values collaboration and student-centered services.
