Job summary

Saint Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Worcester, MA is seeking an Occupational Therapist or COTA to assess residents, develop plans of care, and deliver skilled treatments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current and in good standing state OT license.
• One year experience in Skilled Nursing Facility or Long Term-Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate resident progress or problems to supervisor and other team members
• Evaluate, develop appropriate skilled plan of care, and communicate with physicians; provide treatments following the plan of care developed as a registered therapist or assistant.
• Document daily resident participation with skilled treatment sessions in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
• Instruct resident's family or nursing staff on current functional level as indicated
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
• Provide support to the center interdisciplinary departments as directed by the Director or Rehab to provide the highest level of care in the industry.
