Occupational Therapist Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at our 88-bed skilled nursing facility. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain and maintain their ability to perform daily tasks and activities. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $39-42 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities

- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals

- Help patients improve their motor skills, balance, coordination, and range of motion

- Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and techniques to improve their independence

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists and speech therapists, to provide comprehensive care for patients

- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Educate patients and their families on how to continue therapy exercises at home

- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members

- Stay up-to-date with the latest occupational therapy techniques and advancements

Requirements:
