Guidepost Pediatric Services, LLC is a privately owned pediatric physical, occupational, and speech therapy clinic located in the heart of the Mat-Su Valley in Alaska. The clinic provides therapy to children from birth to 21 years in a fun, family-friendly, and professional environment. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in Wasilla, AK. The Occupational Therapist will assess pediatric clients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to support functional skills, sensory processing, fine motor development, and daily living activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting evaluations, documenting progress, collaborating with families, caregivers, and other therapy disciplines, and adjusting treatment plans as needed. The role also involves participating in interdisciplinary meetings, contributing to a supportive clinic culture, and maintaining accurate, timely clinical records. The Occupational Therapist will engage in professional development and may assist with education and outreach to families and community partners.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and implement pediatric treatment plans.
• Knowledge of Pediatrics and Medicine relevant to developmental stages, sensory integration, and common childhood conditions.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with children, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Alaska.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience in pediatric settings, including sensory integration or neurodevelopmental treatment, is highly beneficial.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
• Ability to work on-site, manage a caseload, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
