Job summary

The Phoenix Center for Rehab & Pediatrics in Haskell, NJ seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our pediatric units in a full-time role. You will provide quality OT services to children and coordinate care with the therapy team.

Responsibilities include screening, evaluations, planning discharge, supervising OTAs, developing new programs, and educating patients and families. Must have OT degree and be licensed or eligible.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed or license eligible to practice.
• Experience with pediatric populations preferred.

The Phoenix Center for Rehab & Pediatrics is a skilled nursing facility located in Haskell, NJ caring for both the Pediatric and Geriatric populations. We are looking for a caring and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team and work Full-time hours in our Pediatric units.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who has the desire to implement high-quality Occupational Therapy services and who is strong in identifying patient needs, a team player and efficient with their time.

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:

• Screening patients
• Performing evaluations and developing initial and interim treatment and discharge plans
• Documenting progress toward identified objectives
• Overseeing Occupational Therapy Assistant(s)
• Developing and implementing new program/techniques to enhance occupational therapy services.
• Conducting patient and family education
• Delivering quality occupational therapy services
• Putting patient service first

Must have a degree in OccupationalTherapy, and must be licensed or license eligible for consideration.
