Job summary

A rehab therapy provider is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist in WaKeeney, Kansas. This position involves assessing and treating a diverse patient population, including both inpatient and outpatient care. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctorate.
• Graduate of a certified occupational therapy program.
• Possess or be eligible for state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients.
• Plan and develop new programs.
• Communicate with patients, families, and staff.
• Present in-services to fellow staff therapists.
• Assist in the general operation of the department.
• Supervise COTA’s as necessary.

• PRN, part-time, or full-time Occupational Therapist position located in WaKeeney, Kansas
• Both inpatient and outpatient within a community based hospital setting with home health
• Population mix is diverse from school kids to adult geriatrics
• Pay rate: $42-$52/hour, depending on experience

• Assess and treat patients

• Communicate with patients, patients’ families and physicians and staff
• Present in-services to fellow staff therapists
• Assist in the general operation of the department
• Supervise COTA’s in accordance to state regulations as necessary

Occupational Therapist Job Requirements:

• Bachelors (B.A., B.S.) or Master's degree (M.A., M.S.) or Doctorate (OTD) in Occupational Therapy
