Job summary

Gundersen Health System in Wisconsin is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join Emplify Health, delivering inpatient and outpatient care with 40 hours per week and flexible shifts.

You will evaluate patients, provide diagnostic and therapeutic services, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in discharge planning. WI licensure and CPR are required; weekend coverage may be needed. Competitive benefits accompany this role.

  • Current WI OT licensure.

We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our team providing care for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. In this role, you will work with individuals experiencing a wide range of conditions at Emplify Health by Gundersen, Moundview Memorial Hospital and the Extended Care Center in Friendship, WI.

What you will do/job specifics
  • Full-time 40 hours/week 8 hour shifts, 7am-3:30pm and 8am-4:30pm.
  • Occasional coverage on weekends.
  • Work closely with patients and patient family members by evaluating and providing diagnostic and therapeutic services.
  • Collaborate with other departments and professionals.
  • Service as a member of the treatment team involved in patient treatment/activity, progress, and discharge planning with follow up care.

What’s Required/What you need
  • Graduate from an accredited program for Occupational Therapy
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of WI
  • CPR Certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
