OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - FULL TIME - SANTA ROSA CARE CENTER - TUCSON, AZ

Santa Rosa Care Center in Tucson, AZ, is a post‑acute care facility that offers long‑term care, short‑term care, and geriatric services. We provide a stable, in‑house therapy team and excellent programs to support our geriatric clientele on their journey to recovery. We are currently looking for a Full‑time Occupational Therapist to join our in‑house rehabilitation program.

Full‑time: Flexible schedule with work‑life balance.

Pay: $45 – $50 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist.

Key Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop appropriate plans of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence‑based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions for patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness, modify services as needed, and make referrals in relation to outcomes.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other health‑team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
• Provide comprehensive discharge summaries of services per regulatory and clinical requirements.
