Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for a K–12 school setting in Brighton, CO. In this role, you’ll conduct evaluations, support IEP development, and collaborate with school teams to promote student success.

This position is ideal for experienced school-based OTs or those transitioning into schools, offering a competitive pay rate up to $60/hour, W-2 employment with liability insurance, benefits, licensure reimbursement, and mileage between sites.

Qualifications

• Active (or eligible) Colorado State OT license.
• CDE Certification with Special Service Provider endorsement (or ability to obtain).
• Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based OT services: evaluations, treatment, and consultation.
• Conduct standardized assessments and write evaluation reports.
• Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with student needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support students’ fine motor, sensory, and functional skill development.
• Partner with teachers, SPED staff, and families to promote carryover.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Adapt materials and environments to improve student access.

In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by conducting evaluations, supporting IEP development, and collaborating with school teams.
