Qualifications

  • Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to meet all applicable school, licensing, and employment requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, families, and other professionals.
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student programming and goals.
  • Recommending strategies, accommodations, and adaptive equipment to support student success.
  • Maintaining student confidentiality and following all policies.

TSP Ed Co is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and support students in a school setting in Thorndike, ME

This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys working directly with students, building meaningful relationships, and helping children develop the fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills they need to be successful at school.

What You'll Do
  • Providing occupational therapy services to students individually and/or in small groups
  • Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment goals and interventions
  • Supporting students with fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and visual-motor skills
  • Helping students develop functional, self-care, and classroom participation skills
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress toward individualized goals
