Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to start ASAP in a school district on-site. The role focuses on fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills to support academic function.

We expect licensure (OT/L) and NBCOT, with school-based experience preferred. Full-time schedule at 37.5 hours weekly, and EOSY end date. Competitive pay between $50–$55 per hour with full benefits.

Qualifications

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive educational team right away! In this role, you will empower students with special needs to develop the fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills they need to succeed academically and functionally in the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Student Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive school-based OT assessments, analyze standardized tests, and determine eligibility for occupational therapy services.
  
• Treatment & Intervention: Develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals, delivering engaging direct and indirect therapy services.
  
• Collaboration: Partner closely with teachers, parents, special education staff, and multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student growth.
  
• Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant records of student evaluations, progress notes, and IEP compliance data.
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensure: Valid state Occupational Therapy (OT/L) license and relevant national certification (NBCOT).
  
• Experience: Previous school-based experience or pediatric clinical experience is strongly preferred.
  
• Availability: Ready to start immediately and commit through the end of the school year (EOSY).
  
• Work Schedule: Full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
