Qualifications

• Oregon OT license required at hire.
• BLS certification by American Heart Association upon hire.
• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in OT from an accredited program or equivalent education/experience.
• Occasional specialized OT training to meet department needs.

Responsibilities

Occupational Therapist

Newberg, Oregon

Full Time

The Occupational Therapist provides skilled occupational therapy evaluation and treatment services to patients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities. Working collaboratively with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team, the therapist develops individualized treatment plans that maximize patient independence, restore functional abilities, and improve quality of life

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, Or
• Master's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, Or
• Ph.D. from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, or equivalent education/experience.
• Occasional specialized Occupational Therapy training to meet a particular department need, or equivalent education/experience.
• Oregon Occupational Therapist License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Experience

• Occupational Therapy experience in Hospital, Acute Care, Rehabilitation, or Clinical settings preferred
• Experience with patient evaluations and treatment planning
• Strong rehabilitation and functional assessment skills
