Job summary

TSP Ed Co is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to support students in a school setting in Romulus, MI. You will help children develop fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills to succeed at school.

You will conduct evaluations, set goals, implement interventions, and collaborate with teachers, families, and other providers to support individualized student plans. This role emphasizes confidentiality and adherence to school policies.

Qualifications

• Active OT license/credential for Michigan
• Master's or doctoral degree in OT from an accredited program
• Experience with children or adolescents preferred
• School-based and/or special education experience is a plus
• Knowledge of pediatric OT, sensory processing, and developmental needs
• Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students individually or in small groups

• Help students develop functional self-care and classroom participation skills

TSP Ed Co is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and support students in a school setting in Romulus, MI.

This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys working directly with students, building meaningful relationships, and helping children develop the fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills they need to be successful at school.

What You'll Do

• Providing occupational therapy services to students individually and/or in small groups
• Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment goals and interventions
• Supporting students with fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and visual-motor skills
• Helping students develop functional, self-care, and classroom participation skills
• Monitoring and documenting student progress toward individualized goals
• Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, families, and other related service providers
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student programming and goals
• Recommending strategies, accommodations, and adaptive equipment to support student success
• Maintaining student confidentiality and following all school and TSP Ed Co policies
