Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in Rockwall-Heath, TX. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate children's functional abilities and sensory, motor, and self-care skills, and develop individualized treatment plans to support their daily participation at home, school, and in the community. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing direct therapy sessions, documenting progress, and adjusting interventions as needed to meet treatment goals. The role involves collaborating with speech and physical therapists, as well as families and caregivers, to ensure coordinated care and clear communication about strategies for success. The Occupational Therapist will also contribute to a positive, child-centered environment that encourages play, learning, and skill development.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation appropriate for pediatric clients
• Knowledge of Pediatrics and Medicine as they relate to child development and functional outcomes
• Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with children, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist in Texas
