Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessment; identify patient needs and appropriateness of the plan of care.
• Prepare and maintain a Plan of Care, progress notes, and other clinical records on an ongoing basis.
• Revise the Plan of Care based on evaluation and ongoing assessment.
• Apply infection control and universal precautions in coordinating/performing patient care.
• Accept clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence.
• Use effective interpersonal relations and communication skills to coordinate care with the team.
• Assess physical, social, and cultural components of the patient’s occupational environment.
