Job summary

Fairview Rehab and Care Center in Philadelphia is hiring an Occupational Therapist to join our team providing high-quality care for residents in a long-term care setting.

You will assess clients, design and implement treatment plans, and recommend adaptive equipment to support daily activities, with a focus on maximizing independence and function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• Certified by the National Board for Certification.
• Experience in Long-term-care setting preferred.
• Up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and occupational therapy programs.

Responsibilities

• Conducting physical and psychological assessments of clients and developing or following a treatment plan.
• Advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities.
• Developing physical rehabilitation programs to help clients regain lost skills.
• Evaluating results and progress of occupational therapy on clients.
• Maintaining professional knowledge and progress to provide the best treatment program.
• Evaluating patient condition regarding physical and basic mental health.
