Job summary

Fairview Rehab and Care Center in Philadelphia, PA is actively seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and support daily living activities with compassion and professionalism.

You will advise on adaptive equipment, implement rehabilitation programs, monitor progress, and maintain current knowledge of treatment practices to deliver the best possible care for our residents in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
• Certified by the National Board for Certification
• Experience in long-term-care setting preferred
• Up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs.

Responsibilities

• Conducting physical and psychological assessments of clients and developing or following a treatment plan.
• Advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities.
• Developing physical rehabilitation programs to help clients regain lost skills.
• Evaluating results and progress of occupational therapy on clients.
• Maintaining professional knowledge and the technical progress in order to provide clients with the best treatment program available.
• Evaluating patient condition regarding physical and basic mental health.
