Job summary

Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our rehab team in Orlando, FL. You will empower residents to regain independence through customized therapy plans in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, implement interventions, monitor progress, and document care while ensuring resident confidentiality and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current and active Florida Occupational Therapist license.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to residents’ functional goals.
• Implement engaging, evidence-based interventions to promote independence in daily living activities.
• Monitor and document residents’ progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Support the rehabilitation of residents recovering from illness, injury, or disability.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and safeguard resident confidentiality.
• Promote a positive and respectful environment aligned with our mission of compassionate care.
