Job summary

Bond Health is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide school-based evaluation and therapy services to students. You will evaluate and treat students to improve independence and functional abilities within educational activities.

collaboratING with families, teachers, and an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized plans; address motor, sensory, and ADL skills; and maintain thorough documentation. Fingerprint clearance may be required.

• Strong communication and organization are required.

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Must be willing to obtain NYS fingerprint clearance or possess it already.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide school-based occupational therapy per IFSPs and IEPs.
• Address fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, ADLs, and functional skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, evaluations, and progress notes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, annual reviews, and parent consultations.
• Recommend referrals and adaptive equipment when appropriate.
• Assist with evaluations, intake, and ongoing student support.
• Supervise OT students or OTAs when applicable.

• Maintain therapy equipment and supplies.
• Supervise OT students or Occupational Therapy Assistants when applicable.

Qualifications
