Job summary

Austill’s Educational Therapy Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to provide school-based therapy to students from preschool through 12th grade in southeastern Pennsylvania. The role focuses on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional participation in the classroom through direct therapy and IEP implementation.

You will collaborate with teachers and school teams, complete documentation, attend IEP meetings, and travel between school locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with PA license or eligibility.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to PreK–12 students.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success.
• Complete required documentation, including progress notes and IEP updates.
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed.

Timeframe: 26-27 School Year

Snapshot: We are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to work with school-age students for 2 or 5 days/week or preschool for 3 days/week (southeastern Bucks County)

Job Summary

An Occupational Therapist (OTR) provides school-based therapy services to students from preschool through 12th grade. This role focuses on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional participation in the classroom through direct therapy, IEP implementation, and collaboration with school teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students (PreK–12)
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student success
• Complete required documentation, including:
• Progress notes
• IEP updates and annual reviews
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Support student development in areas such as:
• Sensory integration
• Activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Travel between school locations during the school day (if applicable)

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
