Job summary

Providence Missoula seeks an Occupational Therapist to plan, organize, and direct occupational therapy services in alignment with federal, state, and local standards.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care and collaboration with the Rehabilitation team to deliver high-quality, compassionate treatment. State licensure in Montana and BLS certification are required upon hire, with strong clinical judgment and communication skills valued.

Qualifications

• Education to qualify for Occupational Therapist licensure.
• Montana Occupational Therapist License required upon hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop and direct Occupational Therapy Services in accordance with standards.
• Ensure quality patient care and safety in therapeutic activities.
• Collaborate with Rehabilitation team to implement patient care plans.

Job description

The primary function of the Occupational Therapist is to plan, organize, develop and direct Occupational Therapy Services in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be defined by the Rehabilitation Clinical Manager/Director of Rehabilitation, to assure that the highest degree of quality patient care can be maintained at all times.

Required Qualifications:

• Education to qualify for Occupational Therapist licensure
• Upon hire: Montana Occupational Therapist License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in an occupational therapist capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or other related medical field
