Flagship Therapy in McAllen, TX is seeking a PRN Outpatient Occupational Therapist to join the in-house rehab program. The role focuses on screening, evaluation, and implementing rehabilitation plans for patients with physical functioning disorders and wounds, delivering skilled and medically necessary treatments.

You will collaborate with an experienced team, provide consults to patients and families, and generate discharge summaries compliant with regulatory standards.

• Administer procedures as part of rehab plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, devices, and wound care.

• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.

Post RGV in McAllen, TX is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a PRN Outpatient Occupational Therapist for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

Occupational Therapist license is required. Open to Occupational Therapists at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
