Job summary

CareOne at Lowell is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our in-house rehab team in Lowell, MA. The role focuses on high-quality, resident-centered rehabilitation in short-term and long-term care settings.

You will evaluate residents, develop and supervise treatment plans, document care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a compliant, patient-focused environment. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in OT required.
• Current and active OT license in MA.
• Prefer experience in older adult rehabilitation.
• Prefer knowledge of governmental and regulatory guidelines in healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Provides and directs resident rehabilitation care within standard practice methods, meeting all center, state, federal, and accrediting standards.
• Evaluates residents and establishes effective and efficient treatment plans for the residents assigned.
• Manages and coordinates the supervision of treatment plans with all staff and other disciplines as indicated.
• Participates in the screening of all residents according to directed schedules and practices.
• Provides feedback to the designated supervisor on all clinical and rehabilitation issues.
• Participates in all center directed processes and services.
• Performs necessary clinical documentation to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
• Maintains complete, accurate and timely billing records to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements
• Participates in in-service training programs as requested
• May travel to other facilities to provide services on a limited basis

Education

Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy

Salary Range: $38 - $54 per hour

Compensation will be based on, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, credentials, employment status, and work schedule.

Practice Setting: (Short Term Rehab, Skilled Nursing, and Long-Term Care) Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Position Requirements

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current and Active Occupational Therapist license within the state of operations.
• Prefer-experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation.
• Prefer knowledge in governmental and regulatory guidelines in designated healthcare settings.
