Job summary

Wedgewood Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Lakeland, Florida is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you’ll evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans and help them regain independence, working closely with physicians, nurses and therapists in a supportive, team-centered environment.

This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly salary of $45–$54, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Active Florida OT license.
• Experience in long-term care or SNF preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and create individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based interventions to promote independence in activities of daily living.
• Monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive care.
• Support rehabilitation of residents after illness or injury.
• Maintain accurate documentation and protect resident confidentiality.
• Foster a positive, compassionate care environment.

• Support the rehabilitation of residents recovering from illness, injury, or disability.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and safeguard resident confidentiality.
• Promote a positive and respectful environment aligned with our mission of compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current and active Florida Occupational Therapist license.
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities preferred.
