Job summary

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. You will assess patients\' physical and cognitive function, design personalized treatment plans, and monitor progress to help patients regain independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current state license or eligibility for state licensure.
• Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
• Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions to help patients improve their functional abilities
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and caregivers to provide comprehensive care to patients
• Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and their families on how to continue therapy exercises and techniques at home
• Stay current with advancements and best practices in occupational therapy and incorporate them into patient care
• Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of the occupational therapy profession
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation
