Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities using professional expertise. This full-time, onsite role requires collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

You will document and educate patients and families according to protocols, supervise COTA/L, volunteers, or students, and may assist with relocation as needed.

Qualifications

• OT degree required (BS/MS/PhD) from accredited program.
• NBCOT certification and Ohio licensure required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience across organizational levels and with diverse patient conditions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with various disabilities.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Document and educate patients and families per protocols.
• Supervise COTA/L, volunteers, or students as per regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in occupational therapy and working across organizational levels.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and current Ohio licensure.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
