Job summary

Glendale Transitional Care Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our supportive care team in California. The role focuses on evaluating and treating residents with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal needs, in line with approved plans of care.

We offer a competitive salary range of $104,000–$124,800 per year, plus a sign-on bonus, PTO, and referral bonuses. California licensure is required, and new graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy (BS, MS, or PhD) required.
• CA state licensure to practice Occupational Therapy is required.
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and administer OT treatment for neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues.
• Administer and interpret tests for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency.
• Provide direct clinical treatment per established care plans.
• Participate in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provide adaptive tools and treatments for patient needs.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
• Conduct home assessments to support safe discharge when appropriate.

• ccupational Therapist (OT) Duties and Responsibilities Performed within scope of practice and federal guidelines:
• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts simulated and/or actual home assessments, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.

• ccupational Therapist (OT) Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Therapy Occupational Therapy Issued by California.
