Job summary

Autumn Hills Healthcare Center seeks an Occupational Therapist (OT) to evaluate and treat patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues. You will work within an interdisciplinary team, administer tests, and provide direct clinical care per a care plan.

A CA license is required, with a preference for 1 year of clinical experience; new grads are welcome. Details include a salary range of $104,000 to $124,800 per year, a sign-on bonus, PTO, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Graduate with OT degree and CA licensure.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred; new grads welcomed.
• Current California OT license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal problems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for strength, ROM, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments to ensure safe discharge.

• ccupational Therapist (OT) Duties and Responsibilities Performed within scope of practice and federal guidelines:
• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts simulated and/or actual home assessments, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.

• ccupational Therapist (OT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed.
• Current license to practice Therapy Occupational Therapy Issued by California.
