Job summary

Ranch House Senior Living in Garden City, Kansas, seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. You will assess residents, develop plans, and promote independence through evidence-based OT interventions.

Role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, documenting progress, and guiding residents and families in adaptive equipment use. A Kansas OT license and 1–2 years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Kansas.
• 1–2 years of experience in acute care, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify residents' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Design and implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve residents' functional abilities and independence.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate discharge planning.
• Provide education and support to residents, families, and caregivers to promote safe and effective use of assistive technology and adaptive equipment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care and treatment outcomes.
