Job summary

Ranch House Senior Living in Garden City, KS is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. You will assess residents, design and implement therapy plans, and help residents regain independence after illness, injury, or surgery.

In this full-time role, you will collaborate with nurses and therapists, document progress, educate residents and families on adaptive equipment, and support discharge planning to promote safe, functional living at home.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Kansas.
• 1–2 years of experience in acute care, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify residents' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Design and implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve residents' functional abilities and independence.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate discharge planning.
• Provide education and support to residents, families, and caregivers to promote safe and effective use of assistive technology and adaptive equipment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care and treatment outcomes.

About the Role:
