Job summary

Palm Garden Rehab - Gainesville is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to help residents regain independence after illness or injury. You will assess residents, develop and update individualized therapy plans, and communicate progress to the clinical team. Join a team focused on supportive care, collaboration, and positive outcomes.

A Florida OT license is required; rehab experience is a plus. We offer daily pay, health benefits after 60 days, continuing education, and a discounts

• Rehab or skilled nursing experience is a plus but not required.

What You Will Do

• Assess new residents and develop care plan. Update therapy plans based on their recovery, safety needs and goals.
• Work with residents on daily living skills like dressing, bathing, grooming and eating so they can be as independent as possible.
• Document progress, challenges, and improvements in the medical record and communicate updates to the clinical team.

What We Are Looking For

• Active and Clear OT license in the State of Florida
• A caring attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Skilled nursing or rehab experience is a plus but not required
