Job summary

NISMA THERAPY SERVICES LLC in Fairbanks, Alaska, is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate clients and lead individualized treatment planning with a small, dynamic team.

You will document care, oversee treatment delivery (including supervision of OTAs), and adjust goals to maximize outcomes for clients across pediatrics to adults.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active NBCOT certification is preferred/required.
• Alaska state licensure or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new clients and answer introductory questions about their care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with short and long term goals, adjusting as needed for successful outcomes.
• Implement treatment and track client progress toward goals.
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation of client needs, care, and outcomes.
• Work closely with clients and families to ensure knowledge and tools for success.
• Supervise and collaborate with OTAs providing therapy services.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• NBCOT certification

• Strong charting, documentation, and organizational skills
• Strong evaluation skills
• Comfortable with basic computer programs (Microsoft Office, Google Docs, etc.)

Salary Information
