Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for home health services. You will provide individualized therapy programs in patients' homes and educate patients and families on rehab techniques and adaptive equipment to improve daily living tasks.

The role requires licensure in the state, CPR/BLS/First Aid certification, and at least one year in home health or similar settings, with flexible scheduling options including FT, PT, and PRN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Current unrestricted license to practice OT in the state of position is required.
• CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification required.
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations.
• One year of professional OT experience in home health or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct individualized therapy programs in a home care environment to help patients develop, regain, or maintain daily activities.
• Teach patients and families rehab techniques and how to use adaptive equipment for daily tasks.
• Record, evaluate, and study patient progress before recommending and implementing further treatment.

To qualify for an Occupational Therapist with us, you will need:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in related field, required; Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy, required

• Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations
• One (1) year of professional experience practicing as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in a home health or similar setting
