Job summary

Jump Ahead Pediatrics in Dunellen, New Jersey, is actively seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our school-based team for part-time or full-time coverage from September through March. The role includes a preschool-focused caseload with direct therapy and no evaluations required, with hours 8:15am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for students referred for services.
• Develop and implement IEPs for students.
• Deliver direct occupational therapy services using evidence-based interventions.
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulations.

Jump Ahead Pediatricsis actively seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Dunellen, New Jerseyfor a part-time orfull-time (leave coverage, September - March)school-based role! Let’s make a meaningful impact on every child’s journey!

• Excellent Compensation

• Hours: 8:15am-2:30pm (flexible) M-F, September - March
• Pay: $60-$65
• Compensation for the full school day, including prep time, note time, and lunch.
• Caseload: Primarily preschool-aged students
  Approximately 5 students with 30-minute therapy sessions, plus additional preschool students
  No evaluations required – direct therapy services only
  Preschool experience is highly preferred
  Existing full-time OT and full-time COTA on staff
  

Responsibilities:

• Providing comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for students referred for services
• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students utilizing evidence-based interventions and therapeutic activities
• Monitoring progress and adjusting therapy plans as needed.
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with regulations.
