Jump Ahead Pediatrics in Dunellen, New Jersey is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a part-time or full-time school-based role. The position offers competitive compensation and opportunities for growth within our pediatric-focused practice.

Caseload includes preschool-aged students with direct therapy sessions; duties include evaluations, IEP development, and collaboration with teachers and families. NJ School Certification and OT license required.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT with NJ School Certification.
• Experience in school-based pediatric settings preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with educators, parents and therapists.

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for students referred for services.
• Developing and implementing IEPs for students.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students utilizing evidence-based interventions and therapeutic activities.
• Monitoring progress and adjusting therapy plans as needed.
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with regulations.

Jump Ahead Pediatricsis actively seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Dunellen, New Jerseyfor a part-time orfull-time (leave coverage, September - March)school-based role! Let’s make a meaningful impact on every child’s journey!

Setting:School-Based Services (Pediatric)

• Excellent Compensation
• Exclusive school placement (no travel required)
• Hours: 8:15am-2:30pm (flexible) M-F, September - March
• Pay: $60-$65
• Compensation for the full school day, including prep time, note time, and lunch.
• Caseload: Primarily preschool-aged students
  Approximately 5 students with 30-minute therapy sessions, plus additional preschool students
  No evaluations required - direct therapy services only
  Preschool experience is highly preferred
  Existing full-time OT and full-time COTA on staff
