Job summary

Jump Ahead Pediatrics in Brick, New Jersey, is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist for a full-time, temporary school-based assignment. The role offers guaranteed hours and a pay rate of $60–$62 per hour, with the day running 8:35am–3:00pm, Monday through Friday.

The position focuses on comprehensive evaluations, IEP development, direct therapy services, progress monitoring, and collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals, with support through a clinical mentoring

Qualifications

• Must hold an Occupational Therapist license and NJ School Certification.
• Experience in school-based settings preferred.
• Strong documentation and collaboration skills required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT evaluations and assessments for students.
• Develop and implement IEPs for students.
• Provide direct OT services using evidence-based methods.
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals.

Setting: School-Based Services (Pediatric)

• Excellent Compensation

• Hours: 8:35am-3:00pm M-F
• Length of position: 2-3 months
• Pay: $60-$62
• Compensation for the full school day, including prep time, note time, and lunch.

Responsibilities:

• Providing comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for students referred for services
• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students utilizing evidence-based interventions and therapeutic activities
• Monitoring progress and adjusting therapy plans as needed.
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with regulations.
