Halifax Health in Deltona, FL is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to administer treatments to pediatric through geriatric patients. You will evaluate abilities, design and implement individualized treatment plans, and schedule therapies to support recovery and independence.
You will counsel patients and families on home care, coordinate with other clinicians to optimize therapy, and tailor assistive devices when needed.
Day (United States of America) Occupational Therapist The Occupational Therapist will administer occupational treatments to assigned pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients while providing care as needed. They will evaluate patients' abilities and limitations utilizing all occupational skills and knowledge available, develop and implement treatment plans for patients based on evaluations and schedule patients for therapy and/or treatments. Additionally they will, counsel, educate, and instruct patient and patient's family for proper home care program, communicate and closely work with other personnel in coordinating patient's occupational therapy program and design, correct, and/or adjust orthopedic and/or assistive devices.
