Job summary

Halifax Health in Daytona Beach is seeking an Occupational Therapist to administer therapy for pediatric to geriatric patients. You will evaluate abilities, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and schedule therapy sessions to maximize function.

You will also counsel and educate patients and families for home care, coordinate with other clinicians, and assist in selecting or adjusting orthopedic and assistive devices as needed to improve daily living.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree from an accredited college or university in Occupational Therapy or a related science with an Occupational Therapy Certificate.

Job Overview

Day (United States of America) Occupational Therapist The Occupational Therapist will administer occupational treatments to assigned pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients while providing care as needed. They will evaluate patients' abilities and limitations utilizing all occupational skills and knowledge available, develop and implement treatment plans for patients based on evaluations and schedule patients for therapy and/or treatments. Additionally they will, counsel, educate, and instruct patient and patient's family for proper home care program, communicate and closely work with other personnel in coordinating patient's occupational therapy program and design, correct, and/or adjust orthopedic and/or assistive devices.

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree from an accredited college or university in Occupational Therapy or a related science with an Occupational Therapy Certificate.
