Job summary

Halifax Health in Daytona Beach is seeking an Occupational Therapist to administer therapy for pediatric to geriatric patients. You will evaluate abilities, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and schedule therapy sessions to maximize function.

You will also counsel and educate patients and families for home care, coordinate with other clinicians, and assist in selecting or adjusting orthopedic and assistive devices as needed to improve daily living.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree from an accredited college or university in Occupational Therapy or a related science with an Occupational Therapy Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Administer occupational therapy treatments to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Evaluate patients' abilities, develop and implement treatment plans, and schedule therapies.
• Counsel, educate, and instruct patients and families for proper home care.
