Job summary

RehabVisions in Iowa is seeking an Occupational Therapist for home health opportunities near Creston, Winterset, and southwest of Des Moines. This is a full-time role with benefits starting at 30 hours per week and a pay range of $40–$55 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities include assessing and treating patients, developing new programs, communicating with patients, families and physicians, giving in-services, and supervising COTAs as allowed.

Qualifications

• OT degree (B.A./B.S. or M.A./M.S.) or Doctorate (OTD) in Occupational Therapy.
• Graduate of a certified occupational therapy program.
• State licensure required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients.
• Plan, market and develop new programs.
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians and staff.
• Present in-services to staff therapists.
• Assist in the operation of the department.
• Supervise COTA's as allowed by state regulations.

Occupational Therapist Job Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat patients
• Plan, market and develop new programs
• Communicate with patients, patients' families and physicians and staff
• Present in-services to fellow staff therapists
• Assist in the general operation of the department
• Supervise COTA's in accordance to state regulations as necessary

Occupational Therapist Job Requirements:

• Bachelors (B.A., B.S.) or Master's degree (M.A., M.S.) or Doctorate (OTD) in Occupational Therapy
• Graduate of a certified occupational therapy program
• Possess or be eligible for state licensure
