Job summary

Rock Health is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide home and community-based early intervention for infants and toddlers from birth to three years old.

You will assess family needs, coach parents, implement IFSPs, document progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support child development and family advocacy.

Qualifications

  • Active Massachusetts OT license required.
  • Experience with infants/toddlers and families preferred.
  • Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to build culturally humble relationships with children, families, and community partners.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license; bicultural skills a plus.

Job description

We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist/OT to provide home and community-based early intervention services for infants and toddlers from birth to three years old, focusing on those with or at risk for developmental delays.

Responsibilities Include
  • Assessing child and family strengths, concerns, and progress through multidisciplinary team evaluations.
  • Delivering child and family-centered, developmentally appropriate services using a parent coaching model.
  • Developing and implementing individualized intervention plans and ensuring timely service coordination.
  • Partnering with families to develop and monitor Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs), promoting parent advocacy and child development.
  • Facilitating parent-child interactions and supporting families in acting as advocates for their children.
  • Completing documentation, progress reports, assessments, and correspondence using electronic systems.
  • Providing individual and group interventions targeting cognition, adaptive behavior, social-emotional skills, self-care, and motor and communication development.
Qualifications And Skills
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts.
  • Experience with infants, toddlers, and families preferred.
  • Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to build meaningful, culturally humble relationships with children, families, and community partners.
