Job summary

Prime Healthcare in Blue Springs, MO seeks a PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) for the Outpatient Rehabilitation department. You will provide one-on-one therapy to help patients regain independence in ADLs after injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.

The role emphasizes improving fine motor skills and functional abilities with day shifts in a collaborative outpatient setting; new graduates are welcome with a supportive team. Benefits are provided by Prime Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current state OT certification/license is required.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient occupational therapy treatments focused on ADLs, fine motor skills, and upper extremity function.
• Provide therapeutic activities, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training.
• Educate patients on adaptive techniques and home exercise programs (HEP).
• Document care and monitor progress in EMR (Epic).
• Support orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical rehabilitation.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare, CMS, and clinical guidelines.

Shifts Available: Day Shift

Hours: 8-hour shift- Variable

Location: St. Mary's Medical Center- Blue Springs, MO

Join our outpatient rehabilitation team as an Occupational Therapist (OT) and make a meaningful impact by helping patients regain independence in their daily lives. In this role, you will work one-on-one with patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions, focusing on improving functional abilities, fine motor skills, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
