Job summary

Community Health and Counseling Services in Bangor, Maine is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to provide professional OT services in home, school or residential settings, following physician orders and agency policies.

You will conduct evaluations and treatment planning with patient/family in mind, require Maine licensure and CPR certification, and have access to a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance; one year of rehab/home health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist license required or able to obtain licensure in Maine.
• Graduate of accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• One year of clinical experience preferred, especially in rehabilitation or home health.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional occupational therapy services in patients' homes, schools, or residential facilities per physician orders and agency policies.
• Provide consultant occupational therapy services when appropriate.
• Perform evaluations, assessments, planning, and implementation tailored to patient/family needs.

Job Description

This position provides professional occupational therapy services in the patient’s home, school or residential facility in accordance with physician’s orders and agency policies and procedures and coordinates other services as indicated. Provides consultant occupational therapy services when appropriate. Provides patient/family oriented care through occupational therapy evaluation, assessment, planning, and implementation based on the patient/family needs. Must have or be able to earn a CPR certificate. Must possess a valid State of Maine driver’s license and a reliable means of transportation with a minimum of $100,000/$300,000 auto liability insurance.

Hourly Range – $30.00 to $40.00
