Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a School Occupational Therapist to support middle school students in the Algonquin area. Full-time for the 2026-2027 school year, with a pay range up to $60/hour in the Greater Algonquin, IL area.

The OT will provide school-based services, complete evaluations, and collaborate with IEP teams to monitor progress and ensure outcomes. Licensure, dedication to inclusive education, and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP, 2026-2027 School Year
• Setting: Middle School
• Location: Huntley School District 158
• Service Areas: Deliver IEP service minutes, documentation, collaboration

Your Responsibilities

• Provide school-based OT services in alignment with IEP goals
• Conduct evaluations and write reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and progress monitoring
• Maintain timely documentation
• Collaborate with special education teams and related service providers

What We’re Looking For

• Illinois Occupational Therapy license
• School-based experience preferred, but not required
