This per diem OT role offers flexible scheduling, a supportive family-oriented atmosphere, and mileage reimbursement for home visits. California licensure, NBCOT, CPR, and 2+ years of clinical OT experience required.

Qualifications

• Graduate ot curriculum accredited jointly by relevant bodies.
• Registered with NBCOT and hold active CA OT license.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical OT experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and home environments to identify needs and safety concerns.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and communicate them to physicians and the care team.
• Teach and retrain patients in daily living skills affected by illness or injury.
• Recommend and instruct patients on adaptive equipment, splints, and orthotic devices.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and promptly report changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate with the broader care team to ensure seamless, patient-centered care.
• Educate family members and caregivers on the patient’s treatment approach.
• Supervise OT assistants and oversee home health aide care when OT is the sole skilled service.
• Support discharge planning as patients transition out of home health care.
• Perform other duties as required for patient services.
• Graduate of an OT curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation and the AOTA.

Please note that this role is per diem with a rate of $110 - $130 per visit.

• Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association
• Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association
• Active California Occupational Therapy license
• Minimum 2 years of clinical OT experience
• Current CPR certification with AHA
• Valid driver’s license, reliable insured vehicle, and the ability to travel to patient homes
• Strong communication and organizational skills
