Responsibilities

• Perform occupational physical examinations (pre-placement, surveillance, qualification, etc.).
• Coordinate with facility resources to provide work-related care.
• Notify management of exam results and recommend restrictions or accommodations.
• Interpret test results for occupational disease or related conditions.
• Treat on-the-job illnesses and injuries and stabilize transfers as needed.
• Develop and oversee medical surveillance programs.

Education

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)

Licensure as Physician (state medical license)

Residency in Preventive Medicine / Aerospace Medicine / Occupational Medicine
