Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage. The role is based just outside Tacoma, WA, about 50 miles south of Seattle, in an urgent care clinic setting.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 8a–5p with an anticipated pay rate of $72.75–$78.75 per hour. Requirements include Washington state medical license, BLS, DEA, DOT, and board certification as appropriate for NP or PA.

Qualifications

• State licensure required (Washington) and DEA registration.
• BLS certification mandatory.
• Board certification for NP or PA in Occupational Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational medicine care in urgent care setting.
• See 20–25 patients per day in a Monday–Friday 8a–5p schedule.
• Manage patient care with DOT, BLS and related regulatory requirements.

This facility is seeking an Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8a-5p
• Patients per day: 20-25
• Practice Setting: Urgent Care Clinic
• State Licensure: Washington state medical license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Board Certified and Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Credentialing Timeframe: 2 weeks
