AMN Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) for an outpatient occupational health clinic in California. The role covers occupational medicine evaluations, DOT physicals, and return-to-work exams, with immunizations and acute injury care as part of daily duties.

The position requires California NP licensure, DEA and BLS certification, and a credentialing window of 45–60 days. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, ~40 hours per week.

Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP)

StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $72.75 - $78.75

This facility is seeking an Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; 40 hours per week
• Patients per day: Average 20 patients per day
• Practice Setting: Outpatient Occupational Health Clinic
• Scope: Occupational medicine evaluations, Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals, return-to-work exams, workers' compensation injury care and follow-up, acute injury evaluation and treatment, immunizations and vaccinations, stress testing, joint injections, suturing, splinting, foreign body removal from eye, physical examinations, and treatment planning
• State Licensure: California Nurse Practitioner (NP) license, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Credentialing timeframe: 45-60 days
